Listen to the Salad Days: A Confessions Initiative is a collaboration between Team Salad Days and *scape featuring fresh and awesome local bands secondary schools, JCs and polytechnics. There wil be 3 various performances held at *scape in June to August 2008 in conjunction with Confessions @ *scape, a series of gig events which encourages the incubation of musical ideas by both aspiring youth music organisations and established bands. What's more, it will also be headlined and supported by upcoming and famous local bands.
Through the sales of limited merchandises and EPs, we aim to raise money for Boys' Town and *scape Co. Ltd., our beneficiaries for this Service Learning project.
The EPs will feature original tracks written by the 6 bands which will be picked through auditions
Limited edition merchandises will include Revoltage T-shirts and Gibson guitar picks, featuring the name of our project.
This project provides youth bands with a platform to showcase their talents on stage. Listen to the Salad Days is a chance for youth bands to gain exposure and experience, and also a good opportunity to discover young and talented musicians. At the same time, youths can contribute to the community through music.
