EA Sports UEFA Euro 2008 is the latest installment of Electronic Arts' series of football video games. Take on the challenge of EA Sports UEFA Euro 2008 as gamers will be able to celebrate their success on-field through interactive celebrations that will add to the pageantry and atmosphere of the event.

Tournament General Rules
Competition Method: 1 vs. 1
Competition Format: Home and Away
Game Mode : International countries
Win/Loss Determination: Win/Loss Determination Rules
- 1st stage: total goals with Away goals rule applied
- 2nd stage: should the total goals end in draw, a new match will be played with 4 mins half length
- 3rd stage: If the score is still level after extra time, a penalty shootout shall take place to determine the winner.
Players must kick-off with a backward pass at the beginning of each half and after every goal is scored.
Player change and strategy change is limited to 2 times throughout the game.
(The changes before the start of first and second half are not included in this count.)
At the end of each match, players must maintain the final screens and receive confirmation from a referee.

Game setting precautions
- The official, licensed UEFA Euro 2008 product must be used.
- In addition, the abilities of teams and players cannot be modified arbitrarily.
- Players on both sides must select the options before they begin the game.
- The match result will be accepted even if the players find out that each others' settings were different after the matches

Penalty for Unfair Play
Unfair play
Use of any cheat program
Intentional disconnection
Use of any settings exceeding standard and permitted settings
If the match is disrupted due to unnecessary chatting, the player may be given a warning or lose by default at the refereeās sole discretion.
Upon discovery of any player committing any violations regarded as unfair play, that player will be disqualified from the tournament.
During the course of any match, the operations staff and/or referee may determine other actions to embody unfair play at any time.
Three warnings constitute being disqualified from the tournament.
