*scape is a space for the youth, by the youth. It encompasses the *scape Skate Park, the *scape Youth Centre & Youth Park, and a 1.2 ha site where a new *scape building will be. With the new *scape ready by end 2009, young people will get to enjoy a centralised, one-stop hub where they can participate in interest-based programmes, exchange ideas and showcase their creative talents. The spaces in the building are designed for a density of activities that will bring about interaction with youth of diverse interests and ignite new ideas.

*scape aims to encourage youth participation and develop their spirit of volunteerism. By taking ownership and spearheading these programmes and activities, *scape hopes for young people to gain the experience, knowledge and skills that will help them succeed in their lives.
